Much like Instagram hand-holds its users through improving their photos, Ku uses question prompts to inspire its users to write something. These take the form of questions like ‘how was your lunch?’ or ‘what did you do last night?’. It gives users an easy chance to get their thoughts flowing. They are also given options to augment their composition by adding a doodle of their own, or a photograph. Posts can also then be hashtagged via some in-app shortcuts which help people find content based on themes. It can then be shared to the Ku network where others can like and comment on what the user has written, or share it out to mainstream social networks, garnering more popularity and a wider audience.
