TV makers like Samsung and LG presented their high-definition TVs that feature a curved screen. The TV screen bends with the touch of a button, giving users the option to watch programs with a flat or curved display. Another future launch are the Utra HD or 4K televisions.
Last year, smartwatches like Pebble started the wearable trend, a category that has expanded into glasses and other notable products. There is also Razer Nabu, which is a cross between a fitness band and a smartwatch, tracking activity and sleep patterns, as well as transmitting calls and text messages.
In terms of home appliances, the concept started with smart appliances like refrigerators with Wi-Fi access for searching recipes. At CES 2014, the trend is now including ovens with integrated tablets and light bulbs users can turn on and off with a smartphone.
