NETFLIX presents its new application for iPhone and iPod Touch
Understanding that each passing day more people use mobile devices to watch movies and series, NETFLX announced the launch of the new version of its application for iPhone and iPod Touch.
In comparison to the older version, the new NETFLIX experience on iPhone and iPod Touch is more comprehensive. Now you can watch on smartphones many more titles, being similar to the updated version developed for tablets by NETFLIX last year.
On the top part of the navigation screen you find a row that allows one to return to the movie or series in case the user paused and wants to continue watching. The new experience also offers, on the bottom of the page, various rows of personalized recommendations of movies and series.
By one touch to the navigation menu, you can access the genres gallery, where you can see a wide variety of titles organized by categories. It also has the children and family option, where the user will find material organized by age groups.
On the other hand, by selecting any title, any information relevant to the series or movie appears and double click, starts playback. Also, the search function is available from any place in the application, so that the user can always find what their looking for.
The new NETFLIX experience is available for iPhone and iPod Touch devices that use the iOS version v5.o or higher and can be downloaded from the App Store.
