Instagram will come to Windows Phone

Nokia’s devices division is also in the process of being acquired by Microsoft. Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom has also confirmed the app is on the way.  The company’s goal is to bring Instagram to everyone who wishes to use it to capture special moments.  

Neither Systrom nor Nokia provided further details about the features the Windows Phone Instagram app will include.  The arrival of Instagram fills the biggest app gap in Windows Phone, cementing its position as the third choice mobile platform.  In recent times Nokia tried to fill Instagram’s absence with the app Oggl in the Windows Phone platform.  They felt this app was similar to Instagram and helped users share their favorite pictures.
