Ingram Micro provided entertainment and fun at their Art D

Ingram Micro celebrated another successful year with their vendors and partners for the Art D’Holiday event at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The evening began with a reception in one of the terraces of this popular and upscale Miami hotel. A variety of appetizers were offered, while guests enjoyed soft piano music. Lenovo had a table with three models were offering champagne, while APC and HP had open bars.

The guests were later directed to one hotel lounge full of flower decorations, a stage for the band and another stage for a painter with decorated tables. The room also had a snapshot booth where guests could take a black and white picture, a nice memory of the evening.

Ignacio Rojas, General Manager of Ingram Micro, welcomed the guests with a short speech detailing how the year has been for IM.  As he explained, this year had its challenges, but Ingram Micro dealt with them head on and achieved further growth. This year, retailers added a new business unit, Ingram Micro Mobility, which BrightPoint acquired. Rojas also mentioned some areas of business in which Ingram Micro is expected to grow, and cloud services. He finished his speech presenting Fabiana Allegro, International Marketing Manager for Ingram Micro Latin America and the main organizer of the event.

The evening continued with food and entertainment by a live band provided by Lenovo. A painter, provided by APC by Schneider Electric, created the APC logo while break dancing. Some guests took home awards as part of a raffle. Ingram Micro was supported by Lenovo, APC by Schneider Electric, EATON, HP, Microsoft, Intel, BlackBerry , Cisco, Symantec , Epson, Kingston, Datalogic, Elo Touch Solutions, Star Micronics, Brother and Psion for this spectacular event.
